PROPOSAL FOR THE SALE OF Two (2) DC-10-30F McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Two (2) each with approximately 114,000 Total Airframe Hours Built in about 1974, the aircraft have a universal direction roller pallet handling system; a large side cargo door and are curerent in certification.
They are being sold because of the economic slow down in the air freight business. As conditions improve, they will probably be re commissioned. /taken off the market, These aircraft are 'subject to prior sale'
The McDonnell Douglas DC-10 was produced in three basic models, the Series 10 for domestic routes to 3,500 miles and the series 30 and 40 for extended range and intercontinental travel. DC-10s were modified as passenger/cargo convertible versions and as the KC-10 aerial tanker for the U.S. Air Force. In addition to the luxury and spaciousness inherent in its wide cabin, the three-engine DC-10 incorporated improvements in propulsion, aerodynamics, structure, avionics, flight control systems and environmental compatibility that advanced industry standards.
