Information outlined below is needed to insure the refinery(s) for sale or to be built can make all the products the buyer is in need of, and what other components would be required.Need API of crude supply for production capability, and percentage of product output that can be made.
1. Specific Gravity or API: ______________________ if specific Gravity or API is not known, 40.8 API will be assumed.
2. Weight percent of sulphur in the Crude: __________ If Sulphur content is not known, a Sulphur content of less than 0.5 by weight will be assumed and special alloy will not be used.
3. Amount of Salt in the Crude: __________________ If the Salt content is not known, a salt content of less than 14.4 mg/litre will be assumed and a desalter will not be included.
4. T8P or ASTM distillation for the Crude: _________ If distillation data is not known, but the Crude Specific Gravity is known, we will assume an average distillation __________________________________________ for the specific gravity given. If the specific gravity is Not given, we will use data for West Texas Intermediate Crude.
5. Temperature of the Crude feed: ________________ If the temperature of the crude feed is not known, an Average temperature of 70F (21C) will be assumed.
6. Net Positive Static Head (NPSH): ______________ The Crude Feed tanks should be located within 500 feet of the processing plant and at least 5 feet of Net Positive Static Head available. If this is not so, the crude feed pumps will Have to be mounted on a special skid at an extra cost, and located at the product tanks.
7. Capacity of the plant in metric tons per year and barrels per day: _______________ Present Plan ________ BPD Future Plan _________BPD
Metric Tons per day________ Per Year________
